Creating Accessible Homes—Habitat for Humanity Ramp Up Program

Through the Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County Ramp Up program, our volunteers donate their time and skills to build wheelchair ramps for homeowners who are seeking better accessibility in their homes. This fix makes it possible for the homebound to go outbound and get around! To learn more about the Ramp Up program and to download, print, and fill out an interest form with a description of a project you would like us to consider, click here.

Preserving Homes—Habitat for Humanity Aging in Place Program

Our Aging in Place program helps residents aged 65 and up with home repairs and modifications. This includes widening hallways, installing grab bars, building accessibility ramps, and updating flooring.  We can also put you in touch with local organizations that address age-related issues including health, isolation, hunger, and lack of transportation. To learn more about the Aging in Place program, and for an interest form to download, print, and fill out with a description of a project you would like us to consider, click here.  You will also find a link to a page where you can register as a new program volunteer, or Sign In if you are already a registered volunteer.

Rehabilitating Homes—Habitat for Humanity A Brush with Kindness Program
