National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities and be a force to transform the world. Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County’s volunteers are the lifeblood and the heart of everything we are able to accomplish. Volunteers staff our ReStore locations, work alongside partner families to build, repair, and restore homes, and lend their professional expertise to our homebuyer programs, such as Homeward Bound and Advancing Black Homeownership.
