April is National Volunteer Month. During this time, organizations across the country recognize and pay tribute to the millions of people who generously donate their time, skills, and knowledge to various causes and efforts. Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County’s volunteers are the lifeblood and the heart of everything we are able to accomplish. Volunteers staff our ReStore locations, work alongside partner families to build, repair, and restore homes, and lend their professional expertise to our homebuyer and homeowner programs, such as Homeward Bound and Advancing Black Homeownership. A month doesn’t feel long enough to be able to express how much we value each and every one of them. Visit our volunteer page to learn more about volunteering with Habitat Dutchess. And please, this month and every month, thank a volunteer!
